Shooting Range Divorce Party
By Snyder & Sarno on February 03, 2015
We have previously blogged about divorce parties (i.e., celebrations of a marriage ending). A new type of divorce party, however, has sprung up in Las Vegas. Specifically, ABC News recently reported that a firearms facility has released a new party package for recent divorcees, which ironically, will become available on Valentine’s Day.
The party package allows those who recently divorced to shoot at items that remind them of their marriage. For example, divorcees could shoot at wedding dresses or marriage certificates. The company provides transportation to the event and allows a divorcee to bring four guests for a price of $499. Upgrades to private firing lanes are also available.
While firing at sentimental objects from a marriage may be one way to end a union, there’s often much more to divorce than just a celebration once the final judgment has been entered. Parties who are divorcing frequently battle over many issues in their divorce, including alimony, property division, and if kids are involved, child support and custody.
In order to avoid feeling as if you need to resort to this type of divorce party after your divorce is complete, it is helpful to seek the assistance of an experienced matrimonial lawyer. Call the attorneys at Snyder & Sarno, LLC at (973) 274-5200 for help with your case.
