Lainie S. Nissim, Associate
Lainie Nissim is a native of Northern New Jersey, having moved here with her family when she was a year old. She spent the rest of her childhood in Millburn, New Jersey, where she lived until she left to attend college at Lehigh University. Lainie majored in history at Lehigh, with a minor in real estate and was an active member of the Pi Beta Phi Sorority chapter there. She is still involved with her sorority today, keeping ties to the organization to help mentor young women traveling along her same path.
Lainie went to law school at New England Law in Boston, Massachusetts, where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2014. After graduating from law school, Lainie returned to her roots in New Jersey and clerked for the Honorable Donald Kessler in Essex County. While she began as a matrimony clerk, Lainie eventually transferred to the General Equity division, where she ended her clerkship. Following her clerkship Lainie joined the firm of Nitti & Nitti in Roseland, New Jersey. Lainie practiced for over a year at Nitti & Nitti primarily focusing on family law matters before joining Snyder Sarno D’Aniello Maceri and da Costa LLC.
Lainie takes a "hands on" approach to all of her cases, getting to know her clients and their needs personally so that she can tailor her representation to their individualized needs. She had various clinic experience throughout law school, including mediation and domestic violence work, both of which give her a unique view and understanding of family law.
In her spare time, Lainie is an avid reader of books both big and small, young and old, with a particular affinity for fantasy and historical fiction novels. When not found with her nose tucked into a book, Lainie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, maintaining strong ties in her life with those most important to her, because for Lainie, family matters.

"I was involved in a VERY complicated and tumultuous child custody, divorce, domestic violence case for two full years. I was fortunate enough to be represented by one of the top matrimonial teams in the state of NJ, and the outcome in my case exceeded my every expectation." - Former Client"Paul personally stood by my side and represented me throughout my injury case. Whether it was business at hand, advice, or a late night phone call to help me understand what was going on; he never took a step back towards helping me. I knew that I could call on him at any time . My case was very successful and I attribute that to Paul's dedication . He even came to me during a snow storm when I could not make it to his office. I certainly would recommend him to anyone." - Former Client
